The Art of War by Sun Zi of Gold Edition, developed jointly and designed carefully by Yan-Huang Culture Institute  of  China  and Beijing  Zhong  Jin  Foundation  Science  & Technology Development (Group) Co.,Ltd., has been issued formally by  China Culture & History Press . In order to carry forward the excellent culture of ancient China and strengthen the exchange of the international culture , the Book  is edited  in  bilingual Chinese-English.

  The Gold Book imitates ancient style as the size 16mo and its format and script are based on the original of The collection of Eleven Commentators' Annotations of Song Dynasty(960-1279)block-printed edition,that was carved exquisitely and collated carefully. It includes a portrait of Sun Wu , and the map  of  feudal warlords vying  for the throne  in  the Warring States Period(475-221B.C), and a picture of his hometown. This method of printing is the first of its kind.

   The Art of War by Sun Zi was written  by  Sun Wu who  was  a celebrated militarist  and military theorist of ancient Chin a. Sun Wu -Changqing was born  in  the State  of  Qi (Now the Hui-Min County in Shan-Dong Province) during The Late Spring  and Autumn Period (770-475B.C) He was respectfully addressed as Sun Zi or Sun Wu Zi.

2、Manufacture: made of pure gold, newly high-tech, national patent, initiative of the world

  The Gold Book is the first to adopt nanometer techniques in the printing and the manufacture . It is the contemporary crystallization of high-tech. The Gold Book is made of pure gold paper  that  the most new technique got the National patent(the patent NO.: ZL98224551.3),and the purity is 99.9%. Its quality compared  to  the traditional products  of  gold foil has been greatly improved.

   The traditional  gold foil  can't be printed color . The gold  foil was handmade with hammering or pressed by machinery. Gold of I gram could made 20 square meters  of  foil to the maximum which lost physical strenght and toughness and was easily torn.It can be only used for decoration. And this Book  adopts  highly - pure gold  paper  with  the  characters  of  strict structure , high  strenght , a certain toughness , colourfastness , strong adhesive force , the wet-proof and insect-proof . A sheet of gold paper as 16mo. contains about gold of 1 gm, but it needs about gold of 6 gm. in the process of manufacturing a sheet of paper that contains gold of 1 gm.

Sun Wu's gold head portrait is laid out  on the Book cover  and  the purity is 99.9% . It was manufactured  by  Shanghai Mint affiliated  to  The Chinese People's Bank.

   The attachments of the Book include a magnifier, a fake-proof detector, a certificate of collection, a notary certificate, a report of supervised the manufacture etc.
