In order to carry forward the excellent culture  of  ancient China  and strengthen the exchange of the international, the Book,edited in bilingual Chinese-English,has been issued formally by China Culture & History Press. The Ceremony  of  the first publication was held  at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Nov.16.2004. The Books were presented respectively to National Museum of China,State Library of China and Military Museum of the Chinese Rvolution for everlasting collection.

   The Gold Book  imitates ancient style as the size 16mo. and has 40 gold pages . Its format  and  script are based  on  the original edition of The Collection of Eleven Commentators' Annotations  Song-Dynasty block-printed edition.It includes a portrait of Sun Wu, the map of feudal warlords vying for the throne in the Warring States Period,and a picture of his hometown. The papers inside the Book  are made from gold  that  the purity is  99.9% with the characters of strict structure,high strength,a certain toughness, colourfastness, strong adhesive force, the wet-proof and insect-proof.

  Owing to its cultural connotation and the exquisite manufacture,the Book is chosen as a state gift  by  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China . Tang Jiaxuan-State Councillor , presents the gift  of  the Gold Book  to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono-President  of  Indonesia on behalf of Hu Jintao-Chineses President, during his visit to Indonesia a few days ago.

   Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono - ( the first in the right ) President of the Republic of Indonesia appreciates the Gold Book as a state gift presented by Hu Jintao , President of the People's  Republic of China , and  highly appraises the first Gold Book-The Art of War by Sun Zi.
