"Seven gems" is a general term of jewelry and wealth which refers to pure and true jewelry in Buddhist Scripture.Seven precious gems such as diamond, ruby,sapphire,agate,olivine, garnet and pearl are inlaid into corresponding parts of the hull made of gold and silver.

 Diamond£ºDiamond which enjoys the fame of"the King of Gems"is the most precious gem in the world. Diamond is actually referred to the carved and polished one , a kind of simple substance crystal formed under high pressure and high temperature deep down in the earth . It is the most beautiful and expensive substance and wealth.In spite of thousands of years of human civilization, it has been hundreds of years since people had the elementary knowledge of diamond. Before this,diamond appeared only in fairy tales. It symbolized religious power and attachment to the nobility. Diamond lasts long and is handed down to generations forever. With its excellent qualities of being hard and dazzling , diamond is considered the symbol of happy love, faithfulness, and eternity.

 Ruby£ºtogether with sapphire , belongs to the family of corundum . Ruby is smaller in size and quantity than sapphire . Since thousands of years, ruby has been regarede as a mascot symbolizing enthusiasm, courage, loyalty and auspices. Ruby, as well as sappphire and pearl, became the favorite of imperial families and an indispensable ornament of the court dress and the crowns of the Tsar government of Russia and the royal family of UK . The bright and dazzling ruby is renowned as one of the five precious gems . In Eastern countries, it is also regarded as the symbol of wealth, good luck, happiness and longevity.

 Sapphire£ºa high-grade gem,is one of the five precious gems.It ranks third after diamond and ruby. The easterners believe that sapphire may protect people from evil and harm and bring gook luck . Sapphire and ruby are called "sister gems" . It is very hard with hardness of 9 which is second only to that of diamond . With its sparkling and crystal-clear color, sapphire was covered with mystery and super nature in ancient times.It is regarded as a mascoot and the birthday gem of September, symbolizing faithfulness,safety and happiness.

 Agate£ºAgate is a variety of quartz . Various shapes consisting of different colors such as grey, white,red,green,light blue,etc.can be seen from the section of agate,which has proved the saying "there are a thousand kinds of agares and ten thousand kinds of jades " .
